JH Strategic Partners
How I decided on this career path
I came from a very normal background.
I worked valet. I worked in sales. Like many people, I spent years trying to figure out what I wanted to do with my life.
In 2011, I worked alongside chauffeurs at the Omni Hotel in Fort Worth and became fascinated with the industry. I seriously considered buying an SUV and starting my own transportation business, but I didn't yet believe I could make it work.
When rideshare arrived in Dallas a few years later, I saw an opportunity. And in 2014, I began driving, hoping to use the platform to pay for a vehicle while building my own clientele. Almost immediately, passengers began telling me how much they appreciated the experience. They asked for me by name. They said they wished I could be their driver every time. So I handed them business cards.
And then almost nobody called.
That experience changed my life. I became obsessed with a simple question: If people are genuinely excited about a service, why don't they take action?
NEW THESIS
That question led me down a rabbit trail over the next 5 years that ultimately ended with a new thesis on business that I call "Non-monetary currencies." It simply means that money is not the only cost to doing business with someone, and the goods or services are not the only value that contributes to it.
MY EDUCATION
Between 2015 and 2019, I immersed myself in the local startup and business community. I attended classes through the Business Assistance Center, participated in business plan competitions, built software, tested ideas, and even paid for personal mentorship. I studied everything I could about how businesses attract, retain, and expand customer relationships.
Over time, patterns began to emerge.
MY TURNING POINT
In late 2019, I tested a simple "non-service value proposition" by sending a single email to approximately 30 existing clients. Over the next month, revenue increased from roughly $7,000 per month to more than $20,000 per month.
No advertising.
No major operational changes.
Just a better understanding of customer behavior.
I continued refining those ideas through COVID and beyond. By the fall of 2021, my service had grown to approximately $85,000 per month in revenue.
MY TRANSITION
What I learned from that experience was unexpected. I loved building businesses even more than operating them. The deeper I went into pricing, systems, communication, customer psychology, process design, technology, and growth strategy, the more I realized that my favorite place was not behind the wheel. It was behind the blueprint.
Today, JH Strategic Partners exists to help owner operators build the same kinds of systems, structures, and opportunities that transformed my own business. Not because operators aren't talented.
But because many of them are so talented that their businesses have outgrown the infrastructure surrounding them.
Helping solve that problem has become my life's work.

"Growth is a journey of clarity, execution, and measurable results.
